Isle of Wight children’s author Kieran Larwood has been announced as a speaker at the 2024 Cheltenham Literature Festival, taking place next month.
Kieran will appear at the prestigious literary event on Saturday, October 12, to speak about Dungeon Runners, a book that follows Kit, who is part gnome and part dwarf.
Dungeon Runners was co-written with Waterstones Children’s Book Prize winner, Joe Todd Stanton.
Kieran’s event, which promises puzzle solving and character creation, will be followed by a book signing.
Other guests at this year's Cheltenham Literature Festival include Richard Osman, Miriam Margolyes, and Dame Judi Dench.
Kieran is best known for his Podkin One Ear books, with the first in the series winning the 2017 Blue Peter Award.
In February, Kieran appeared at the 2024 Isle of Wight Story Festival.
