POLICE have arrested an Isle of Wight man suspected of launching an attack on someone and making threats.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary received a report of a "verbal altercation" in St Johns Road, Ryde, at 10pm on Wednesday (September 4).
On the arrival of officers, a 24-year-old man from Ryde was arrested on suspicion of common assault and making threats to damage or destroy property.
No injuries were reported.
The suspect remains in police custody at the current time.
