Officers investigating a recent series of arson incidents at the Ocean Hotel in Sandown on the Isle of Wight have arrested a third man as part of enquiries.
Today (Wednesday, September 4), a 20-year-old man from Newport was arrested on suspicion of arson.
He remains in police custody at this time.
Hampshire and IW Constabulary have previously arrested another 20-year-old man, from Sandown, on suspicion of arson.
As reported yesterday (Tuesday, September 3), an 18-year-old man was also arrested.
They have been released on conditional bail until December 3 and November 8, respectively.
The police investigation into the arson incidents continues, and the South Wight Neighbourhoods Policing Team are said to be following up "every line of enquiry."
Officers also continue to patrol the area and are understood to be working with 'local partners' to resolve issues regarding the site, its security and the associated anti-social behaviour.
