Today (Tuesday, September 3), a 20-year-old man from Sandown was arrested on suspicion of arson.

The man remains in custody at this time.

Officers previously arrested an 18-year-old man on suspicion of arson, and he remains on conditional bail until November 18.

The investigation into the arson incidents continues and the South Wight Neighbourhoods Policing Team are ‘following up every line of enquiry’.

A Hampshire and IW Constabulary spokesperson said: “Police also continue to patrol the area and are working with local partners to resolve issues regarding the site, its security and the associated anti-social behaviour and criminality.

“As part of our enquiries, we are keen to identify the person pictured in the CCTV image. Do you know who he is?”
