An Island restaurant is due to open a new venue in Antigua.

The Hut, Colwell Bay, have announced that they will open The Hut, Little Jumby in November 2024.

The restaurant will be located on a private island off the north coast of Antigua between the mainland and its sister island, Jumby Bay Island.

The new site will offer a restaurant similar to The Hut's Colwell Bay site, as well as cabana and beach hut rentals for guests to enjoy the 300-acre private island.

The remainder of the island will be transformed into a nature reserve, and the restaurant will hire locally and provide a thorough training program, with 95% of the team already residing on the island.

TV chef Phil Vickery was recently spotted at The Hut's Colwell Bay site.

Operators of The Hut, George and Matt Adams, commented: "Having worked on this project with Jumby Bay Island for two years already, we are thrilled to be adding to The Hut brand in a destination we love so much.
