A third person has been arrested and bailed following a break-in at an Isle of Wight swimming pool.

As previously reported, Ryde's Waterside Pool was left counting the cost after a burglary in the early hours of Saturday morning (August 31).

At around 02.40am, the swimming pool facility suffered a forced entry break-in, with the intruders vandalising all the building's external lighting and security systems.

The incident saw the building's intruder alarm activate and police were soon on the scene.
