An Isle of Wight man has admitted sending inappropriate sexual messages to his victim, about their mum.
Simon Hilton-Dale, of Mill Lane, Binfield, Newport, appeared before Isle of Wight magistrates on Friday, August 23.
The 44-year-old pleaded guilty to sending offensive, indecent, obscene or menacing messages.
Lauren Stone, prosecuting, said Hilton-Dale sent his victim several inappropriate sexual messages about their mum in March.
Ms Stone told the court Hilton-Dale, who had been drinking when he sent the graphic messages, thought they would be funny but has since apologised.
Barry Keel, defending, said his client expressed remorse in police interview and realised it was not the right thing to do.
Mr Keel said Hilton-Dale is going through a rough time, with his mainland-based removals business in the process of folding due to financial issues.
Magistrates ordered a pre-sentence report and adjourned the case, granting Hilton-Dale conditional bail ahead of sentencing on November 1.
