Isle of Wight indie band Wet Leg has announced that their show at Victorious Festival will be the last time they’ll play some of their songs live.
The band headlined the Castle Stage at Victorious Festival on Sunday, August 25, playing fan favourites Chaise Longue and Wet Dream.
In between songs, Rhian Teasdale told the crowd that the show on Southsea Common was “the last time that we’ll be playing some of these songs live.”
She also mentioned that the headline set felt like a homecoming for them, despite being from “over the water”.
Wet Leg has had a successful summer, headlining Truck Festival in Oxford and supporting Foo Fighters on their UK stadium tour.
Their debut self-titled album went straight to number one when it was released in April 2022.
The band have also supported Harry Styles on his extensive world tour.
Fans are hoping for a new album soon.
