An Oasis reunion has been teased after Noel and Liam Gallagher sent fans into a frenzy making a joint announcement on social media.

Closing his performance at Reading Festival last night (Sunday, August 25), Liam told the crowd, “Let’s give the people what they want!”

Liam dedicated the classic song ‘Half the World Away’ to his older brother, Noel. 

Behind him, signs flashed up on stage reading “27/08/24 - 8am” in the classic font used for the Oasis logo.

At the same time, Noel posted the image on his social media accounts.

It is anticipated that this is in reference to an official statement that is expected to announce an upcoming Oasis ‘reunion tour. '

They last performed together in 2009 at the V Festival in Stafford before parting ways.

Both brothers have enjoyed successful solo ventures, including performing at IW Festival – Liam in 2018 and 2021 and Noel in 2012 and 2019.
