ISLE of Wight police are appealing to the public for help in locating the owner of a dirt bike seized during an incident in the early hours of this morning (Saturday).

At around 1am, while on patrol in Ryde, police say they came across the pictured dirt bike being ridden by two people.

Officers followed the vehicle, and the pair were arrested on Green Street on suspicion of various road traffic and criminal offences.

They have since been bailed while enquires continue and the owner of the vehicle is now being sought by police.

A spokesperson for the force said: “Do you recognise the bike?

“If it is yours, or you have any information, please contact us on 101 quoting reference 44240363329.”
