Carnival fever returns on the Isle of Wight on Bank Holiday Monday (August 28), as fancy dress and outstanding creativity hits the streets of St Helens.

St Helens main carnival returns today as part of the 125th St Helens Sports and Carnival event.
Festivities kick-off from 11am, with village fayre stalls on The Green and thrilling entertainment thanks to Matthews Funfair.
In the afternoon, St Helens will host various sports events, including the tug of war competition after 3.45pm.
Later in the evening, the carnival procession will assemble at 5.45pm before getting underway at 6.30pm.
