An Isle of Wight company has been named as a finalist in the UK’s largest and most prestigious business awards programme.
WRS Systems, based in Newport, has been shortlisted in both the customer loyalty and the family business of the year category, at the Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards.
Founded in 2003, and run by David, Chris and Sophie Jackson, WRS produces EPOS till and kiosk systems and employs more than 70 staff on the Island.
The firm's clients include Costa Coffee, Cornish Bakery, Thunderbird Chicken, itsu, Dunkin' and Island businesses, such as Wightlink, W Hurst & Son, RT Cafe and Grill and Bayliss & Booth.
WRS Systems chief operating officer, Sophie Jackson, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be named as a finalist in not one, but two, categories.
“It is a testament to our fantastic team and the clients we work with. This recognition is a huge achievement for the company, and reflects the innovation, dedication, and commitment that WRS Systems brings to the retail and hospitality sectors.”
The awards are among the most respected in the UK business landscape, celebrating the finest in British enterprise across various sectors.
