ISLE OF Wight Pompey fans who struggle with the logistics of watching their team play at Fratton Park in midweek have been handed a boost, thanks to Hovertravel.

Hovertravel has released the dates and prices for its late night flights and coach charters.

Fans have already benefited from one match — the Carabao Cup match against Millwall on Tuesday (August 13).

Hovertravel will also be operating additional flights on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, December 10 — Portsmouth v Norwich City.
  • Wednesday, January 22, 2025 — Portsmouth v Stoke City.
  • Tuesday, February 11, 2025 - Portsmouth v Cardiff City.
  • Tuesday, March 11, 2025 - Portsmouth v Plymouth Argyle.

Loretta Lale, Hovertravel's commercial head, said: “We know getting back from a late night football match can be a challenge, so we have announced our day return, plus coach inclusive ticket, for the 2024-25 season.

"This brings together the unmatched speed of our hovercraft, with a private coach transfer from the ground to our Southsea terminal."

As these arrangements are for Island residents, the return tickets are only valid from Ryde. They must be booked online.
