A TRIAL date has been set for an Isle of Wight man accused of throttling another man in Newport.
Lloyd Thomas, of Park Road, Cowes, appeared before a judge at the Isle of Wight Crown Court on Wednesday, August 14.
At a previous hearing, the 37-year-old denied intentional strangulation, on Fairlee Road in Newport, on April 29.
He is accused of trying to throttle another man.
Thomas saw his case adjourned for a trial at the same venue on March 10 of next year.
He was granted unconditional bail.
