A musician and filmmaker praised by Iggy Pop has released a live album from his set at the Isle of Wight Festival 2024, featuring a collaboration with a local choir.
Tim Arnold, described by Culture Catch, New York, as “Peter Gabriel in cahoots with Vaughan Williams”, performed on the River Stage on Saturday, June 22.
Tim’s album, Live, Isle of Wight Festival ‘24, features five songs and is available to buy digitally or on CD via Bandcamp.
The first track is a cover of Life on Mars by David Bowie, a song that Tim performed at the Isle of Wight Festival in 2016 as a tribute to the late musician.
Also featured on the album are the Isle of Wight group, The Salutaris Choir, who Tim has collaborated with since 2017.
Tim’s band is made up of Andy Lewis on bass, Pete Radcliffe on drums and Sarah Kershaw on piano.
In May, Tim brought his tour to Quay Arts in Newport, playing songs from his 26th album, Super Connected, which explores the clash between humanity and technology.
