Newport Minster is set to host a free festival showcasing the Island's heritage.
On Saturday, September 7, Newport will celebrate hidden aspects of its county town through the National Heritage Open Days Scheme.
The venture is in partnership with Newport and Carisbrooke Community Council, Shaping Newport, Newport Business Association, and the Classic Motor Show.
Historic buildings will be open, tours, talks and various activities held, including the youth-driven 'Remix the Minster' project.
Special guests will also be welcomed.
Hannah Griffiths, community engagement manager at Newport Minster, said: "We’re really looking forward to hosting this amazing event for Newport with all kinds of different activities to help people learn more and feel connected to Newport."
