POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man committed an indecent sexual act near public toilets in an Isle of Wight seaside resort.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary received a report of a man indecently exposing himself on a slope heading down to Rylstone Gardens, Shanklin Old Village, on Wednesday, July 31.
They received the call at around 12.30pm.
Police say they believe there were members of the public, including families, present at the time, who may have witnessed something.
It is the third such incident on the Isle of Wight since July 30.

The man was described as being aged in his mid-60s, 6ft 2in tall, with a boney, thin face. He was wearing a blue cap, sunglasses and a blue T-shirt.
Police have been conducting inquiries and would like to hear from the wider public who may either have witnessed this incident, or know who this man is.
