ISLE of Wight coastguard rescue teams were called to rescue a casualty on rocks in the West Wight earlier today (Friday).
At around 2pm, Coastguard rescue teams from Ventnor and The Needles were called to the scene at Colwell Bay.
They were responding to a request from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service.
Arriving in the bay, the casualty was safely removed from the area and left in the care of paramedics.
