A revised timetable is in operation on Isle of Wight ferry firm Wightlink today (Friday).
Staff shortages are once again being blamed for the disruption.
An email has been sent to customers, travelling on the Fishbourne to Portsmouth route.
All affected passengers have been moved to alternative sailings, Wightlink said.
A spokesperson said: "We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this action will cause but we have been unable to source short notice cover for the absent members of staff and so have taken this action as a last resort."
