EMERGENCY service teams are dealing with a crash on a main Isle of Wight route this afternoon (Wednesday) – one which is causing traffic disruption.
UPDATE: A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Military Road has been closed in both directions as a result of the incident, which happened at around 1pm.
County Press readers have reported seeing the Hampshire and Isle of Wight air ambulance among those in attendance.
Motorists should avoid the area if possible.
