Cowes Week 2024's end draws ever closer, but there is still much to enjoy at Royal Navy Day today (Thursday, August 1).

Across Cowes there are events, entertainment and live music, with the chance to board a British Navy vessel at Trinity Landing this afternoon.

Cowes Parade

Between 1pm and 4pm, HMS Puncher will be open to the public on Trinity Landing.

TSYT and the RNLI are again teaming up to bring you daily competitions in their marquee in the Regatta Village. Pop over and give it a try!

Scott King will open the live on-stage music between 1pm and 3pm, followed by Jake Winsor (3pm – 5pm), Something About Mondays (5pm – 6pm), Ruby (7pm – 8.30pm) and Tom Jones Tribute (9pm – 10.30pm).

Cowes Yacht Haven

At the Yacht Haven, the usual Range Rover Dynamic Challenge is taking place.

All are welcome to come along for the ride between 9am and 6pm.

Live music will be performed through the afternoon:

  • 12.30 – 2.30pm: Chelsea Rose
  • 3pm – 5pm: Harriet Jane
  • 5.30pm – 6.30pm: Black Daniels Duo
  • 7pm – 8.30pm: That’s Life Duo
  • 9pm – 10.30pm: The Wayfarers

Also, between 8pm and 1am, the Event Centre will host The Mount Gay Crew Party.

Northwood House

At Northwood House Team Garden, homemade cakes, scones, sandwiches, hot and cold drinks and ice creams will be served between 11pm and 5pm.

Between 12.30pm and 3pm, the venue will host The 2024 Cowes Week Ladies Lunch, offering a two-course lunch with a coffee at the recently redecorated Northwood House Ballroom.


Cowes High Street

From 11am – 6pm, you can find fun for everyone at various locations throughout the High Street, with music, entertainers, face painting and glitter tattoos.

Art Courtyard

This artistic collaboration will transform the Olesinski super yacht designer’s courtyard and building, located on Cowes High Street next to the Heron Restaurant.

Within the Olesinski building, visitors can enjoy art and meet Gail and Anna, gaining insight into the inspiration behind their sea-inspired works.

The Heron Restaurant will be on-site, offering a casual dining experience and drinks.

The Art Courtyard will be open daily throughout Cowes Week, and admission is free.

Classic Boat Museum

Open every day during Cowes Week from 12.30pm to 4pm, the Classic Boat Museum boasts over 70 boats, sailing, motor and lifeboats.

Last entry is at 3.15pm.
