Today (Sunday, July 28) is ‘Family Day’ at Cowes Week 2024, promising a mix of entertainment for all ages.

There will be free workshops on the Parade, performances, tree climbing in Northwood Park, face painting, cakes and live music.

Here’s what to expect at Cowes Week today.

Cowes Parade

Cowes Week’s charity partners The Tall Ships Youth Trust (TSYT) and the RNLI are joining forces to offer daily competitions in their marquee in the Regatta Village.

The Yarmouth lifeboat will join festivities at Trinity Landing so people can meet the crew and learn what it takes to launch an all-weather lifeboat.

The Cowes RNLI station will also be open all day for visits.

Between 1pm and 5pm, The New Carnival Company is holding free workshops, build a robot, make a wand and crafts.

TSYT are hosting a mast climb fundraising challenge from 1pm to 4pm.

At 3pm, the Starlight Academy U12 Show Team will put on their Global Dance Competition Performance.

At 5pm, Theatretrain will entertain with their live Shanklin Theatre performance of ‘We Will Rock You’.

Live music will also be brought to you by Black Daniels Duo (5pm-6.30pm), The Gekos (7pm-8.30pm) and The Real Dead Ringer, a Meat Loaf Tribute Band, closing events on the Parade between 9pm and 10.30pm.

From 11am – 6pm, you can find fun for everyone at various locations throughout the High Street, with music, entertainers, face painting and glitter tattoos.

Cowes Yacht Haven

All are welcome for the ride between 9am and 6pm.
