THE County Press has launched a new recruitment package for employers.

Seven in ten employers across the UK are still seeing a shortage of candidates across various roles, according to a survey by the Recruitment and Employment Confederation.

Isle of Wight employers are likely facing similar challenges, and may well be resorting to using temporary staff, freelance and contractors to help bridge the gap.

Tracy Hayden, commercial director for Newsquest Southern, said: “Employers continue to cite hiring difficulties as one of their key challenges, and that is likely to continue in the short to midterm.

“We wanted to create a one-stop solution that could help SMEs reach active and passive job seekers, both on and off the Island.”

The County Press has now launched a multimedia solution as part of its jobs24 platform which includes multiple print ads, online digital display, social media and job board listings for up to four weeks, starting from as little as £349 + VAT.

For businesses who take up the offer in August, they will enjoy the added benefit of two free print insertions in the County Press, and the option to reach potential job seekers on the mainland from as little as £20 + VAT extra.

If you have multiple vacancies, or you want to really stand out from the crowd, we offer premium packages that also come with great added value in August.
