AN ISLE of Wight man accused of intentionally strangling a male and female must wait almost two years to have his trial heard.
Benjamin Able, of Ferncliff Road, Sandown, appeared before a judge at Guildford Crown Court on Thursday, July 4.
The 55-year-old denied two counts of intentional strangulation, and a single count of assault by beating, on May 31.
He is accused of intentionally strangling a male and female, and further assaulting that same male, in Addlestone, Surrey.
Mr Able saw his case adjourned for a trial at the same venue on April 20, 2026.
He was granted conditional bail.
