Isle of Wight ferry firm Red Funnel has confirmed its vehicle service will resume later this afternoon (Monday).
From the Island, the route will back up and running from 2.30pm. While, from Southampton, it will resume from 1pm.
The service has been out of action since last night, as the County Press reported.

A 'technical issue' with the linkspan at the East Cowes terminal was to blame.
Engineers have been on-site this morning, carrying out repairs.
Coaches and cars were arriving in East Cowes, only to be told they would have to wait hours.
Initially it was hoped the service would be back on by midday, and then by 4pm, from Southampton.
Red Funnel has now confirmed the vehicle ferry service will resume normal timetable at 1pm.
A spokesperson for the firm said: "We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused to our customers."
