A national bedroom furniture retailer could be opening its first Isle of Wight store.
Bensons for Beds is looking to move into Towngate Retail Park, Newport.
Proposals could see it take over the former home of Pavers, which closed earlier this year.
A planning application seeks to install illuminated building signs and a welcome entrance sign at the premises.

One would be on the side of the building and the other would be above the front door.
Shoe shop Pavers shut in April, after nearly a decade serving customers in the heart of Newport.
It was understood that Pavers' lease on the unit was due to expire and the rent was being increased.
Towngate Retail Park is also home to Snap Fitness and Halfords.
No date has yet been confirmed for the opening of Bensons for Beds.
