The Isle of Wight floating bridge is scheduled to be out of service tomorrow evening (Tuesday, July 8) to allow for repairs.
The Cowes to East Cowes floating bridge will be suspended between 6pm and 11pm, while replacement chain guide wheels are fitted.
The IW Council, which operate the floating bridge, said a launch service will be in place for pedestrians and cyclists during this time.

A council spokesperson said: "This is to enable the replacement of three chain guide wheels. We apologise for any disruption caused."
Cllr Karl Love added: "A number of the bridge's guide wheels are not in the best of condition, which is contributing to the floating bridge making excessive noise and not handling as efficiently as it should.
Eight replacement guidewheels have been ordered, and the first three have now been manufactured, said Cllr Love.
