A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving and being in possession of weapons following a car's collision with a bus.
Police were called just before 7pm last night (Wednesday, July 3) after receiving a report of a collision on the B3395 Kings Road, in Bembridge.
The crash involved a Southern Vectis bus, a grey BMW 318d and a blue Nissan Micra.
Minor injuries were reported, but none on the bus.
The Micra driver, a 28-year-old man from Bembridge, was arrested on suspicion of drink driving.

An air pistol and two knives were found in the vehicle.
Subsequently, the unnamed suspect was also arrested on suspicion of possessing an imitation firearm and possessing an offensive weapon, namely a bladed article.
He remains in custody.
