A key route in and out of Ventnor on the Isle of Wight could reopen as soon as this morning (Saturday), Island Roads has said.
The Graben/Newport Road, which is prone to cracking, was shut to allow for Southern Water to carry out repairs to a damaged sewer.
It meant there was only one way to get in and out of the town.
Since its closure, drivers heading to Ventnor have had to go via Whitwell High Street, which is one-way.
