"If there is a better organised festival than the Isle of Wight - we have yet to play it", said Simple Minds frontman Jim Kerr, after the band's headline performance on Sunday night (June 23).
The Don't You (Forget About Me) singers have heaped praise on organisers and music fans following their, well, unforgettable performance.
Front man Jim Kerr had crowds singing to the band's classics, including Alive and Kicking and Promised You A Miracle.
Taking to Instagram after the show, Jim said: "The gods were with us yesterday!

"The sun shone brightly throughout, even warmer still was the reception given to our brief set.
"Thanks to the huge crowd for singing along - we reckon might have made one or two new fans also yesterday?
"What else to say? Thanks to the promoters for giving Minds the opportunity - if there is a better organised festival than IOW - we have yet to play it.
"Well done to all involved!"
The Scottish rockers were the penultimate act on the main stage, with Green Day bringing the curtain down on this year's event.
