AN ISLE of Wight man has been arrested on suspicion of rape at a seafront property.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary is investigating a report of a woman raped at an address in Culver Parade, Sandown.

A 45-year-old man from Sandown was arrested today (Saturday) and remains in custody at this time.
