AN ISLE of Wight woman has set up a fundraising page for farmers who suffered seeing their field go up in smoke.
Emma Davies posted her plea for the community to help on the Isle of Wight Community Information page on Facebook after a fire ravaged a field in Appleford Road, Chale, this evening (Thursday).

Emma, who set up a GoFundMe page, for her farming neighbours, aims to raise £2,500 to help them.
Within the first half hour of it running, £130 had been raised.
"I'm sure many Islanders have seen the smoke arising from Chale this evening," she said.
"Sadly, this was from our neighbours' field and has destroyed all the grass that was cut for hay today.
"This is his livelihood and, due to family illness, they are already having a very difficult time.

"They are honestly some of the loveliest people we know, always willing to help out.
"I'm not sure what info they want public, if any, but I am heartbroken for them and want to do something to help.
"Therefore, I've set up a GoFundMe in the hope some of our lovely community might contribute in any way they can, to ease some of the strain, they will now additionally be facing.
"Any donations made will go to help take off some of the burden of work, hay and money lost, to ease their troubles at this horrific time."
