A SPECIAL conservation and science festival is returning to the Isle of Wight later this month.
FOCAS Fest is heading to the Wildheart Animal Sanctuary for a second year in a row, following a successful debut in 2023.
This year, the event promises to be bigger and better, and runs between June 29 and 30 as part of the Isle of Wight Biosphere Festival.
The motivation behind FOCAS Fest is to bring to life conservation and science in a fun and imaginative way.
A fun day out for the whole family, more than 30 different exhibitors will immerse children in a world of wonder as they explore a huge range of topics.
To ensure all children have access to the festival, the Sandown sanctuary is offering discounted tickets which include full access to the entire site.
For more information, and tickets, visit the Wildheart Animal Sanctuary website.
Zeb Fisher, the sanctuary’s learning and discovery manager said: “I’m so excited to bring this wonderful festival back to the Wildheart Animal Sanctuary for 2024.
“Last year, we saw fantastic levels of engagement from all our visitors with over 20 exhibitors, and this year promises to be even bigger and better.
“I can’t wait to captivate the imagination of all young people with the beauty of our natural world!”
