Isle of Wight events company Jack Up has paid tribute to one of its former acts - Dario G - following his death at the age of 53.
The musician, whose real name was Paul Spencer, had been diagnosed with stage four rectal cancer last year.
Best known for hits including Sunchyme and Carnaval de Paris, the music producer performed at Jack Up The Summer in 2021.
He also put on an extended performance at the Jack Up Christmas 90s night in November 2019, when he co-headlined the event alongside Urban Cookie Collective.
Posting on Facebook, Jack Up Events said: "Paul was an incredibly talented musician and a lovely person to work with.
"He fought a brave battle having been diagnosed with stage four cancer last June.
"He leaves behind a wonderful musical legacy and many happy memories for many people."
A post on Dario G's social media account said: "It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Paul Spencer earlier today.
"He was positive until the end but this was one battle he could not fight anymore.
"He leaves behind a wonderful musical legacy and many happy memories for many people.
"He will be sadly missed by everyone who loved him. Shine bright our big star."
