The Isle of Wight Festival returns this week (June 20-23) with a line-up that boasts The Prodigy, Pet Shop Boys and Green Day.
Tens of thousands of music lovers will descend on Newport on Thursday morning (June 20) for four days of partying.
After you’ve danced the night away at the various stages and tents, you’ll need to revive your spirits when the sun comes up.
The site itself has plenty of offerings, and you may even have brought your own eggs and bacon, but what about a morning walk to an Isle of Wight eatery instead?

Here is our pick of the seven best breakfast venues (in no particular order!) within walking distance of Seaclose Park...
Town Choice
Town Choice on Town Lane, located near the shuttle bus stop, boasts a dedicated festival menu for this year’s music event.
Featuring an award-winning full English, with two eggs, two sausages, two bacon, two hash browns, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans and two slices of toast - also available as a veggie option,
The friendly team also offers the Town Choice breakfast baguette packed with sausage, bacon, mushroom, egg and hash brown.
The venue also features a sunny garden area where you can enjoy a bit of peace and quiet while enjoying a range of milkshakes, hot, cold and alcoholic beverages.
Berry or passionfruit vodka smoothie, anyone?
Town Choice is open from 8am Friday and Saturday and 10am on Sunday.
The Blue Door
The Blue Door in St James’ Square specialises in home-cooked bistro food. Whether your hangover hunger requires a hearty breakfast or a light brunch, the quirky cafe offers an extensive range of breakfast grub.
You can tuck into a full English breakfast, or perhaps eggs benedict?
If you’re looking for a more modest meal, The Blue Door offers a wealth of breakfast nibbles, available to view on their menu here.
The Blue Door caters for vegetarians and vegans too with gluten-free options available on request.
Open from 9am across the Festival period.
The Castle Inn and The Wheatsheaf
OK, we may have cheated with this one - well, two - but The Castle Inn on the High Street and The Wheatsheaf in St Thomas’ Square are both run by Isle of Wight pub tycoons Simon Cant and Liam White.
Both pubs provide a friendly, warm and traditional place to enjoy a selection of breakfast treats, ales and locally sourced food.
Their Full English breakfasts include two sausages, two bacon, two hash browns, tomato, beans, fried egg, mushroom and toast, including free tea, coffee or fruit juice.
Breakfasts are available from 8am – 11.30pm across the Festival weekend.
French Franks
Found in St Thomas’ Square, French Franks is a deli cafe tendering a range of light breakfast snacks.
French Franks’ morning foods consist of sausage or bacon baguette, toasted bagels, filled croissants, and granola and yoghurt.
Available to order in-store or online through French Franks click and collect mobile app, on hand for Android and iOS users and click here for the menu.
Oh, and there are gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan options available too.
It's open from 8.30am on Friday and Saturday but 10am on Sunday.
Peach Coffee Shop & Kitchen
Located in the centre of Newport, Peach Coffee Shop & Kitchen serves delicious vegan meals in its cafe.
Peach offers a wide range of plant-based options, including a full vegan breakfast, omelette, pancakes and more.
Alternatively, you can try Peach’s exclusive Breakfast Bowl, which features scrambled tofu, garlic mushrooms, smoky beans, ‘this isn’t bacon’, avocado, peppers, spinach, nutritional yeast and pumpkin seeds.
The venue is open from 8.30am on Friday and Saturday but closed on Sunday.

Correo Lounge
Correo Lounge on the High Street boasts an extensive range of breakfast treats, including all-day breakfasts, smashed avocado brunch and triple-stacked buttermilk pancakes.
It would be rude not to mention ‘Big Lounge Breakfast’, consisting of smoked back bacon, Cumberland sausages, hash browns, baked beans, roasted tomatoes, black pudding, button mushrooms, two fried eggs and two slices of toast.
Is that enough to cure your hunger hangover?
If you crave a more lightweight brekkie, Correo Lounge offers breakfast muffins served with Cumberland sausage, smoked back bacon and a fried egg on a toasted English muffin.

Caffe Isola
Caffe Isola, set in the heart of the town centre on St James’ Street, serves honest, simple food with an Italian twist, with a passion for coffee.
Offers an extensive breakfast menu that features bacon doorstep, brie and ham toasted brioche, porridge, toast and plenty of sweeter options.
Caffe Isola also boasts its own coffee, Island Roasted, with its main roastery just down the road from the Festival site and its own profiling roastery on the first floor of the cafe.
