A man was arrested, and later de-arrested, after he allegedly stole a water bottle at a popular Isle of Wight attraction.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary were called to Alum Bay New Road at The Needles Landmark Attraction yesterday afternoon (Saturday, June 15).
Four police cars and a van arrived at the scene at around 1pm, and several officers were spotted detaining a man in the attraction's main car park.
The man was arrested on suspicion of stealing a water bottle.
A police spokesperson said he was later 'de-arrested and given a verbal warning'.
