Isle of Wight general election candidates, Vix Lowthion and Cameron Palin, hosted the Green Party's Jenny Jones, on Sunday, when the member of the House of Lords visited Ryde.
Vix, who is standing in Isle of Wight East, accompanied Baroness Jones to a meeting with the Wightlink Users Group (WUG).
WUG was set up to represent passengers' concerns about the service provided by Isle of Wight ferry firm, Wightlink.
At Appley beach, Jenny Jones also met with Islanders concerned about sewage outflows: The Green Party is proposing to put water companies into public ownership.
Baroness Jones said: “It was a pleasure to support Vix Lowthion.
"She is a fantastic local champion and works tirelessly to raise important issues to improve lives.
"I’ve been so impressed with her work ethic and I just know she will make an excellent MP."
Vix Lowthion said: “It was wonderful to welcome Baroness Jones again.
"In recent years, the Green vote on the Island has been in the top three seats for the party in the country."
