MULTIPLE fire crews were called to an incident at a derelict Isle of Wight hotel in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday).
At around 12.30am, crews from Sandown, Shanklin and Ryde were all called to the scene in Sandown.
They were called to the Cygnet Hotel on Carter Street, at its junction with Broadway.
Firefighters dealt with a small fire in the basement area.
No people were involved, and no injuries have been reported, the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service confirmed.
Crews stood down at around 2.20am.
