A popular Isle of Wight seafront cafe was targeted by burglars, who smashed patio doors to gain entry during the early hours of this morning (Thursday, May 30).
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary received a report of a burglary at the Appley Beach Cafe on Appley Lane in Ryde.
The burglary is understood to have taken place between 2.10am and 2.20am.
A credit card and cash drawer from a till were stolen after the patio doors were smashed to gain entry.
A police spokesperson said investigations remain ongoing, and anyone with information should call 101, quoting reference number 44240226403.
