MULTIPLE Isle of Wight fire crews are responding to a report of a ‘possible fire’ in Cowes this afternoon.
Four fire crews have been called to the scene on Marina Walk.
They were alerted at around 1pm.
A spokesperson for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service said a ‘possible fire’ at the marina is the reason for the callout.
UPDATE:
Fire crews were alerted to a plug charging unit which had caught fire.
It was found to be out on arrival and crews soon stood down.
