A mural is adorning a wall in East Cowes, in honour of the RNLI.
The RNLI mural was painted by artist Daev Walsh in recognition of 200 years of the RNLI, and was completed yesterday (Friday, May 24).
It is to celebrate the lifeboat building history of the town, and its contribution to lifesaving.
The mural has been supported by GKN, RNLI, the Isle of Wight Council, East Cowes Town Council and East Cowes Community Partnership.
The mural can be found on Clarence Road in East Cowes along the GKN factory wall.
Today, a parade took place along the seafront.
Tomorrow, Sunday, there is an open day at the Inshore Lifeboat Centre.
