A PENSIONER accused of flouting the terms of the Sex Offenders' Register by not registering his bank card, appeared before Island magistrates.
Peter Charles Trayner, of Queens Road, Freshwater, faced a charge of failing to comply with the notification requirements of the Sex Offenders' Register — namely by failing to register a new card within three days at Newport Police Station — on an "unknown date" in April.
When he appeared at the Isle of Wight Magistrates' Court, no plea was entered.
The 74-year-old was bailed to reappear at the same venue on June 4.
