An award-winning travel magazine has named an Isle of Wight beach as one of the best in the UK.
Praised for its clean and 'golden' beachfront, Ventnor features on Condé Nast Traveller's list.
Experts from the magazine searched 'high and low' to find the best UK beaches.
From Cornwall to Scotland, the list comprises of 54 difference locations.
In 33rd place is Ventnor, which boasts 'family fun'.
"Navigate the winding roads down through the cliffs and the cascading gardens, and onto the golden beachfront of the Victorian town of Ventnor, which has something of a Riviera feel", travel experts said.
"The tide is strong here, but the beach itself is clean, mainly sandy, easily accessible, and has rockpools to poke around in at either end."
More than half the Isle of Wight has been designated an Area of Outstanding Beauty, and there are 65 miles of coastline to explore, the Condé Nast Traveller said.
Also mentioned is swimming at Sandown and surfing off Compton Bay.
