Ongoing engine problems and too few crew have resulted in yet more Isle of Wight ferry sailings being cancelled, this morning (Sunday).
On the Red Jet route, between Southampton and Cowes, the 6.40am and 7.50am have been cancelled, and the 7.15am and 8.25am from Cowes to Southampton are also off. Red Funnel has now posted to say the Red Jets have returned to normal schedule.
Meanwhile, Red Funnel's Red Eagle is out due to engine problems which first led to sailings being cancelled yesterday.
Today, from Southampton, the 5am, 8am and 11am are cancelled, and from East Cowes there is no 6.30am, 9.30am and 12.30am.
The operator said: "We apologise for any inconvenience to your journey."
It has also warned it will not be sharing automatic notifications about crossings and cancellations on X, from May 27.
Instead, those who need to know about delays and cancelled sailings will need to download an app, or sign up for SMS alerts.
