THERE will be roadworks on a section of the most popular and scenic of Isle of Wight routes for 11 days, starting next week.
Island Roads will be closing the highway for utility works on the Military Road, near Freshwater, between the junctions of Brook Village Road and Freshwater bridleway 64, starting on Monday, May 20, at 7am.
The works will continue until 5pm on Friday, May 31 — or when the works have been completed.
An alternative route will be signposted locally.
