Powerboats will take on a 60 mile course around the Isle of Wight, on Saturday, May 18, in the opening round of the 2024 UKOPRA Offshore Championship.
The Round the Island Offshore Powerboat race will see twenty teams, from across the UK and Sweden, competing for titles in classes 1, 1L, 2 and 3.
Ahead of the green flag, the fleet will travel to the East Lepe buoy, off Gurnard, at about 11.15am on Saturday, from Shamrock Quay in Southampton.
From 12.30pm, there will be a rolling start.

- The race starts off Gurnard's Egypt Point, at 12.30pm
- On the Isle of Wight, spot the powerboats from Yarmouth Pier, Fort Victoria, The Needles, St Catherine's Lighthouse and Ryde Pier
- They will also be visible from Hurst Castle in Hampshire
Spectator boats are warned to stay north of an imaginary line between the East Lepe and West Lepe buoys.
