Isle of Wight web design firm, Brightbulb, has won a national award for its annual Mince Pie Marathon.

The charity event sees Brightbulb sell and distribute thousands of mince pies across the Island, in aid of Ryde-based The Wight Brainy Bunch.

The UK Company Culture Awards accolade found the festive event highlights Brightbulb's dedication to the Island's community and it applauded the Branstone business's efforts to nurture its workspace.

Matt Jeffery, Brightbulb's managing director, said: "We are thrilled.

"This recognition highlights our team's dedication and hard work in not just excelling at what we do, but also ensuring we make a positive impact on our community.

"The Mince Pie Marathon is a reflection of our core values and commitment to integrating social responsibility into our business ethos."

Fiona Jeffery, head of happiness, added: "At Brightbulb, we believe happiness is the key to fostering a productive and engaging work environment.

"The success of our Mince Pie Marathon is a testament to the vibrant culture we nurture, where every team member feels valued and inspired to contribute positively to our community.

"This award is for everyone at Brightbulb who made this possible."
