CUNARD'S towering new luxury cruise liner, the Queen Anne, will be well lit up when it passes the Isle of Wight this evening (Friday).
The stunning 3,000-passenger liner will be heading from Southampton at around 9.15pm, with a special fireworks display send off.
Cunard’s newest ship — the fourth in their current fleet and the 249th ship in its history — will pass the Isle of Wight, on its way to La Coruna in northwest Spain, then Lisbon in Portugal, on a seven-night trip.

The 113,000-tonne vessel, built in Venice, Italy, and boasting 14 decks, will pass across the north of the Island and the East Wight.
It is the first of a series of cruises to historic Mediterranean cities, the Caribbean islands and the Norwegian fjords during her first year of operation.
