Over 140 people attended the most recent sell-out Bellissima and Sugar & Spice Lingerie fashion event, at the Ryde Castle Hotel.

The audience was treated to a show featuring around 100 outfits, comprising summer casual and best dress clothing, lingerie, swimwear and nightwear.

The night raised £1,696 for the Island charity, Daisy Chains, which supports the families of premature babies and children with life limiting conditions.

Funding goes towards cross-Solent travel and accommodation, equipment and therapy.

Kellie Lawrence and Mandy Fuller from Daisy Chains said: “We would like to say a huge thank you to Tina and Sheila from the two shops, for supporting us with their fashion show.

"It was fantastic.

"The funds will be used to help many Island families.”

The shows take place twice a year, in aid of good causes and charities from the Isle of Wight.

Sheila Wilson, from Sugar and Spice, said: “Yet again we sold out of tickets.

"We are so grateful to all our lovely customers that attend and raise money at this event."

Tina Lettington from Bellissima said: “We have helped several Island charities over the past few years, raising thousands of pounds. We have already started planning for the autumn show."
