CLOSURE to a large section of Newport's Medina Way dual carriageway this week — to allow for work on the key Isle of Wight road — is likely to cause traffic disruption. 

Contractor, Island Roads, will be undertaking road marking works between 7.30pm and 11pm on Tuesday (April 23).

The road will be closed for the northbound lanes, between its junctions with Coppins Bridge and Parkhurst Road.

Diversions will be in place.
